OAK HARDWOOD

Long lasting hardwood, excellent for cooking, grilling, smoking and pizza ovens. We double split each piece for pizza ovens (extra charge).  It has a high heat output of seasoned wood. Oak produces minimal smoke, does not spark significantly, creates excellent coals, and is easy to split when dry.

PECAN

Pecan firewood is going to burn exceptionally hot. Pecan is one of the hottest options you can find. You can guarantee that it is going to keep your home warm. A great wood for cooking, bbq smoking pizza ovens and fireplaces. One of the better hardwoods that burns with very little smoke. A great mixer to burn with other aromatic woods. Pecan seldom disappoints and is the choice of many professional chefs for grilling, smoking and in pizza ovens. It produces a pleasant odor that is somewhat reminiscent of pecan nuts and vanilla

MESQUITE

A hardy wood packed with strong bold flavor. Great for grilling and making coals, mesquite is a favorite for barbecuing because it has an intense, earthy flavor that imparts strong flavor into meats. Perfect for dark meats such as beef, wild game, duck, and lamb. Also good for quick grilling of vegetables and other flavorful foods. Slow burning with intense heat.  Excellent for cooking, grilling and smoking a very popular wood with valley steakhouses. This dense hardwood burns clean and creates minimal sparks, making it a popular choice for heating your home, campfires and cooking.

MIXED HARDWOOD

Mulberry, Eucalyptus, Ash, Olive and Pine (for starter). Good local hardwood mix. Excellent for camping, fireplace and back yard firepits. Eucalyptus burns very similar to oak.

Pinyon (PRONOUNCED “PIN-ION”)

Pinion wood is a popular firewood used for outdoor fireplaces and chimineas. Pinion pine wood is sometimes called the hardwood of softwoods. Even though it is technically a softwood, it is harder, more dense, and has a higher BTU than most softwoods. Pinion firewood is popular for outdoor fires because of its nice pine aroma. The scent of both the unburned and burning wood is sometimes described as giving the feeling of being outdoors. The wood is also clean burning, easy to light, puts out plenty of heat, burns long and produces little ash. Pinion pine wood is claimed to be a mosquito repellent when burned. Some will burn the wood outdoors just to keep the bugs away.
